Every year around 50,000 children are diagnosed with cancer in our country.
Children suffering from cancer go through unheard-of diseases like Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Wilms’ tumor, retinoblastoma, brain tumors, bone tumors, neuroblastoma, Ewings sarcoma, osteosarcoma, etc. These innocent children go through a long period of intolerable suffering to fight for their life.

Here is a poem by Stuti Rajeev praising little fighters suffering from Cancer.

Child and Cancer

They are the little fighters,

who scuffle for their existence.

With the hope of tomorrow brighter,

as they have plans for subsistence.

 

The agony these children face

is excruciating in every case.

Cancer is a curse of their life,

but they grapple to survive.

 

Though, CANCER itself is a holocaust,

these kids tussle without being exhaust.

These soldiers do not need sympathy,

just understand them with empathy.

 

If you are blessed enough,

Who got healthy childhood

Just imagine their life so tough,

Do the help possible with brotherhood.

Try and try, do not surrender,

life's journey is an adventure.

Victory is even more divine,

after a course of falling time.

You could see in every success story,

non-stop trial is there behind great glory.

You are supposed to overcome every defeat,

pull up your socks, be ready to compete.

Failure doesn't mean there's nothing to gain,

it just says that, try harder again.

It is not a long-jump that leads to apex,

consistent small steps cause a great climax.

for you, your family, society, nation, and for the universe.

As a particle is not from the universe,
The universe is from the particle.

Your first success is the moment,

you step out of your comfort zone.

Away from your mamma's pampering,

apart from the shade of your daddy’s throne.

It's about when you step out with granny’s lessons,

to establish an empire of your own.

Your first success is the moment,

you step out of your comfort zone.

With your aim along-side,

it's when you get ready for a long ride.

It's not as heavy to start,

as hard it is to decide,

that you will be stepping out,

with your thoughts as your only guide.

But, the day you dare to decide,

 family’s heart will be filled with pride.

That day a journey will start,

And the show will go on and on.

Your first success is the moment,

you step out of your comfort zone.
